Thanks.
What sucks is when the chemicals in my brain make me feel depressed for no reason and I end up trying to rationalize it by thinking of things i dislike about myself.

Yeah, I do that too. That usually just makes me feel even worse about myself.

I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat
Disney has a history of using re-releases in an effort to derail competing animated movies; in 1998, they reissued Beauty and the Beast in an attempt to kill DreamWorks Animation's debut project The Prince of Egypt, and just this year they reissued Frozen in sing-along form in an attempt to derail The LEGO Movie (yeah look how well THAT worked out)

(you might know that there's an extra-personal reason for Disney to have tried to kill The Prince of Egypt; DreamWorks SKG came into being after Jeffrey Katzenberg unamicably departed from Disney, and he and Disney CEO Michael Eisner hated each other)

Gosh-darn it, I was hating Sherman and Peabody this whole time for sabotaging the Lego Movie when it was Disney all along sabotaging them both!
To be fair, Dreamworks made Antz on the cheap so as to be able to come out the same time as A Bugs' Life, forcing Pixar to rush A Bugs Life so it could come out first; leaving Dreamworks more time to work on Prince of Egypt and release it without having to compete with Toy Story's successor. Without Antz, A Bugs Life and Prince of Egypt would have come out at the same time.

It was PDI that made Antz; DreamWorks didn't yet own PDI outright.
Also, I told you your disdain for MPAS was misdirected! It wasn't sabotaging anything; The LEGO Movie was red-hot to begin with, and MPAS wasn't exactly megahit material.

Boris and Natasha miss it too, their lives had purpose then
(that is my headcanon, at some point Fearless Leader got overthrown in a coup and Pottsylvania was radically reformed, and Boris and Natasha snuck out and have been on the lam for ages, still being villains though because they don't know what else to do)

you should listen to my most recent post in the music thread, you are one of maybe two or three people who has been listening to my music long enough to get it.
I still don't remember in retrospect why I thought it was a good idea to stick Laser 558's callsign onto the beginning of "Mojave Music", but I'm glad I did.
