Things that are not covered by healthcare in Spain: -Dentists -Glasses (The optometrician check up is free but you have to pay the glasses) -Aesthetic surgery
And I think the previous president wanted to add sex change surgery to the healthcare but I don't know if he actually went through with it
Also, I live in a country that simply can't get the idea through its collective mind that people shouldn't have to pay for their health.
I really don't understand what you're saying here. Who counts as people, here?
If "health" refers to things like going to the doctor and, say, having the doctor give you surgeries when you need them and being healthy and stuff; I think that that requires lots of work from people, and those people should be paid.
But if people aren't to pay for health, then how will those in the area of health be paid? Does it have something to do with the thing that governments do where they print money?
Sorry, I have absolutely no clue about anything dealing with economics.
The dorm just got new washing machines to replace the ones that broke for reasons (most likely related to the laundrypocalypse that occurs at the beginning of every break.
I've been stalling on the laundry even moreso than usual because of that, and I'm so, so glad that I got a load in 5 minutes ago.
Well, if you want to get technical non-Americans don't believe healthcare should be free; they just believe that you can pay for it with taxes. Which ends up being both more humane and less expensive than paying for it individually.

HH's WYSIWYG editor is completely broken on IE, even in the latest version
Our editor isn't exactly a shining example of perfect web design, but every other major browser at least seems to make it usable

Wait, that way people are still paying for it.
How is that different from the other way?
Anyways, the whole idea of economics is stupid. Moneys only have value because people accept it; and banks and stuff work on trust and then apparently a lot of the money is immaterial somehow.
Considering how people invented economics, you'd think that they'd have better control over it.
And anyways, if apparently the economy was good and now it's bad, all of the money and jobs had to have gone somewhere, right. So it's actually out there. Unless the resources were immaterial or something and they disappeared when, I don't know, bank credibility or something collapsed or something, or maybe something with depression or debt or recession or something.

If implemented properly, it would mean that everyone would have access to adequate healthcare.
Whereas, under the current system, anyone who can't afford to pay for insurance or pay doctors directly is out of luck.
But doctors are supposed to help people whether they have money or not because the point of a doctor is to make sick people well and hurt people whole.
And wouldn't the poor have more opportunities to get beat up and break bones; or not as good access to nutrition, or more exposure to the elements and to disease?
I mean, loads of people don't have access to clean water, how are they supposed to bathe?

The purpose of the doctor differs from the purpose of the medical industry. Industry, whether medical or musical or metalworking, is about ensuring its own survival through profit.
Oh, and using lobbyists to make sure that laws don't get in their ways.

More people have said that and been killed than there are thorium decay products.
Taxes should be what pays for things. Otherwise, the rich are paying orders of magnitude less, proportionally to their income, than the poor are, both for taxes, and for the things they need. Fuck any government that would punish its working class so harshly as to deny them the basic needs of their existence, such as going to the doctor when their health requires.

That reminds me
My position on police seems to have softened over the past couple weeks
Instead of being angry that the police exist, now I'm angry that our law enforcement system is so full of corruption and abuse

I know that I can't wish my anxiety away, but I can take meds.
Can someone get civilization some zanax?
