man do u kno how much corn we have here in the US of A
there is lots of corn
so much corn
literal fields of corn.
children of the corn taught me that, in the USA, corn is actually a god, and if you mess with it a stalk of corn will fly out and somehow smash your car window and spear you through the chest despite this being impossible by, like, the laws of physics. can an american pls confirm this please thank u

You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
nobody has ever really explained to me why political correctness is a bad thing
like, at the very worst it can be kinda silly
Because it's half-way defined, thus people obscure political correctness with complexity it doesn't deserve in order to wear other's patience down.
Like, is it more politically correct to call a black person "African American"? Obviously he/she is american first and foremost, and it's rather questionalble to refer to a place his/her ancestors may or may not have originated from, considering there is more than just africa.
Hopefully you would be refering to the person by pronouns, he or she, unless you were physically describing the person, in which case the color of their skin is a detail of their person, thus where it is "politically correct" to use the term "Black"
Tell, what is "politically correct" (As if politics and politicians aren't just a lot of hot air anyway) in this situation.
"It is a matter of grave importance that Fairy tales should be respected.... Whosoever alters them to suit his own opinions, whatever they are, is guilty, to our thinking, of an act of presumption, and appropriates to himself what does not belong to him." -- Charles Dickens

Nelson Mandela overcame apartheid to become South Africa's first African-American President.

Indeed. We could have communities of people who have to grow food, harvest it, bake it, and hand it over to other people for free.
Fun fact: if America alone stopped throwing out fresh food in bulk, the entire world could easily be fed. check yo privilege bro
The United States alone produces enough food to feed more than seven billion people? Citation needed.
You're also not taking into account how much producers's productivity would drop if the food they grew was taken from them without pay. Remember what Soviet agricultural policy did to Ukraine?
we literally pay farmers hundreds of thousands of dollars to grow less than they ordinarily would.
If we simply let them grow more and then bought it from them and distributed it to the poor, it would not only feed quite a lot of hungry people, it would also make a lot more financial sense than literally paying for nothing.
that said, flooding the market with cheap or heavily subsidised US grain could have a severe negative impact in developing nations that rely heavily on farming, so this isn't like a simple solution to all hunger.

It's awesome, unfortunately I can't stream it because it only runs in fullscreen currently, but I'll live.
