More people have said that and been killed than there are thorium decay products.
When I combine my personal records from all 6 stages, I have over 25 million points in Kamui, but the world record is over 35 million. :o Maybe I should watch the world record again...

To clarify my previous statement: The one ThinkPad I had did indeed seem to be of solid build quality and felt really nice to use, but was from about 2002, so when it was given to me in 2011 it was not of much use as something other than a curiosity.

I miss being new to Touhou and being mystified by it instead of knowing like everything about it and also beating all the games a zillion times each. :x

Then most of them ended up getting retrofitted with those rubber panels. That was a welcome change because they tended not to subside as much as the typical rails-in-pavement crossings did and as such they weren't a pain to drive over.
Now it seems those are slowly giving way to concrete panels...I wonder what the advantage of those is.

I wonder where the use of modern use of "wig-wag" originated.
I know the term originally referred to an early mechanical signal found at railroad crossings, in which a red light would quite literally swing back and forth to warn of an approaching train. (This was meant to imitate the old practice of a railroad flagman waving a lantern.)
But it seems like nowadays it can be used to refer to any pair of warning lights that flash alternately, whether it be the headlights on a police car, the red beacons that accompany a stop sign, etc. In some countries, it can even refer to the modern warning lights on railroad crossings, since traditional mechanical wigwags were mostly confined to the US.

The Cheat, we had those signals installed so you could manage traffic efficiently, not so you could throw traffic signal raves!

The Commonwealth phrase "multi-story car park" amuses me.
Mainly because it's four words to describe what Americans would refer to with one word ("garage").
Of course, they call gas stations "garages", so...
