I write fanfic because it's good practice. If I can write a convincing scene with Mega Man and Air Man, then I can do it when I'm writing a book to sell for money. Also, there are a lot of convincing stories that can be told in certain fictional universes, stories that probably won't be told in canon. That's where I come in. Two years late. With Starbucks. Non-caffeinated Starbucks.
As for why I have to return to that wretched site, there are people who have been waiting two years for the next chapter of this thing. I might as well return and post it, and probably tell everyone that once I restart that other fanfic that I haven't touched in years, I'll be doing it on a different site.
