That feeling when everyone in your year is going to university and you're stuck with the shitty year below because you repeated a year that failed completely
Nope! Sorry, she's Load Ran, the main character of cult versus shoot-em-up Twinkle Star, which also inspired one of the Touhou games, among other things.
Doctor Who reference in Pokemon B2W2? Headcanon accepted.
That feel when you go to university later in life because you were in the armed forces first and all the petty shit that used to be a part of school no longer applies to you
I'm most likely going to be a Sixth Form drop out because I cannot do exams to save my life. I'd much rather become a lab technician apprentice, anyway.
In a similar example, Wilmar Shiras's fixup novel Children of the Atom (first part published 1948; whole novel, 1953) is based on the notion that after an accidental release of radiation at a nuclear power plant, several dozen female employees give birth to Mutants that are absolutely normal in every way except that all of them have IQs of over 300.
...and are they evil?
The implication was that they're all quite conventional Christians — except for one or two, and even those Learn Better. (One of the characters says she knows there are people who don't believe in God, but she can't talk about them because she's been forbidden to use the words "crazy" or "stupid".)
Wow, that's almost as weird as the book where a man doesn't get any older because his painting gets older instead of him, or the book where a piece of jewelry was the driving factor in a multi-species war, or the book where a bunch of mutants fight crime while wearing ugly costumes.
Lazuli the internet is a wondrous thing and I choose to ignore the negative aspects of it because it brings me many good things that far outweigh the things that are not so good about it, most of which I can ignore. :D
Also, I am noticing a consistent trend in Super Lazuli vs. Technology. Technology always seems to have the upper hand, but that is because Super Lazuli gets frustrated at it, and sometimes technology takes patience and a bit of searching the internet for info! : )
I actually am normally pretty good with technology, but anything that requires emulation or disk images seems to be the bane of my existence, since helpful answers regarding those are scarce at best.

I don't think it's weird, I think it's stupid.
Particularly this part right har

I don't remember what I was trying to do with it when I downloaded it, so it's fine (the answer might've been "play NOCTIS 4", but if it was, I wouldn't know how to turn a regular .exe into an image file anyway).
I wouldn't know how to turn a regular .exe into an image file anyway).
...is that a thing you are supposed to do? o_o I really doubt it.
Apparently. Unless there's already a working ROM of NOCTIS 4, which would itself imply that somebody either already did that, or somehow broke the game down and rebuilt it from scratch.
I said image file and meant "disk image". Which, by my (possibly incorrect understanding) is simply any file that can replace a disk (usually a CD), the most common of these being ROM files for video game system emulators.
The more I read this, the more I am totally convinced that someone should write a novel with the premise "what if everyone on the entire planet was suddenly transported to Rhode Island"?
If "every human goes to Rhode Island at the same time" is the premise, then it would have to be a fiction, because non-fiction means things that actually happen. But even if you focused on a single "main character" or something, it would be a boring novel that can be summed up in one nicely written web page. :D
The webpage only describes the processes of what happens, and it leaves a lot of questions that are open to creative interpretation.
That would only be true if you tried to tell everything at once, which is what the page does. With a novel you'd be focusing on one to a handful of protagonists who would provide the actual action. The incident itself would be more of a backdrop.
^^ I suppose. I am just having flashbacks to watching The Day after Tomorrow in a science class one time, and thinking it was the worst movie I ever watched in a science class, and the premise is basically "a small group of survivors must survive a catastrophic event, plus an awful romance subplot," but like mostly every Hollywood movie ever, it was not researched or thought out very thoroughly.
I actually liked Day After Tomorrow, though I will totally concede that the plot is absurd.

who is this character?
did you say "the main character of Sailor Moon"?
Nope! Sorry, she's Load Ran, the main character of cult versus shoot-em-up Twinkle Star, which also inspired one of the Touhou games, among other things.
and people say I can't name things.
So Lunascape has been vastly improved since the last time I tried using it. Might make it my default.
Also I can make it look fuckawesome, because these skins are seriously quite cool.
oh, you!'
I installed DOSbox on my computer and I do not remember why.
Guys how do I anything on a text-based OS.
I have switched to the Commodore 64 emulator I installed for similar "I don't know" reasons.
I still can't do anything.
Oh hey I....sorta figured out how to make a tape program run.
But it's acting like the tape is damaged. Even though there's no actual tape.
TOOLS LUMINE LAZULI
greatest star pilot in the galaxy
I have made your day more ten-years-in-the-past-ish
there was a time when people thought the internet was something you explored rather than endured.
Oh those magnificent, optimistic, naive times.
son what
I was just being silly, Squid.

Well I had the general idea, I suppose.
Although I have heard some people insist that cartridges are also disks. I dunno how, but whatevs.

Yeah, this is kind of where my knowledge of computing ends. Cuz I couldn't honestly tell you.
I just know how to change my background on Windows 7 starter, mayn.

Well a premise can be several different things, but what I meant specifically was the thing that drives the plot.
In this case, everyone ending up in Rhode Island.
That is a truth.
In fact several older b-boys are kind of offended by the term "breakdance".
