Maybe I just worry about seeming obnoxious because there seem to be a lot of "troper couples" that spring up between people who barely know each other and they tend to be very vocal about it.
Of course we know each other very well, and we don't want to rush into a romantic relationship.

You know, I'm kinda lucky that I just happen to live in a state that not only maintains their own sign manual, but makes said manual freely available online.
I also live in one of a handful of states that maintains its own MUTCD--most states adopt the federal manual, with or without a state-specific supplement.

A fairly recent mixed-case street sign for Cleveland Avenue. The City of Columbus has only started using this style since earlier this year.

Street sign assembly along Jefferson Avenue. This one is curious, because "Kiefer Street" isn't a real street but the entrance to one of my school's parking lots. I imagine the sign is leftover from before the parking lot was built.
The only other evidence that "Kiefer Street" might have been a real street, rather than a parking lot, is this little stub on the opposite side of Jefferson Avenue.
