So there's these bizarre ads running on the radio here, apparently selling some miracle cure for diabetes (!) that involves a magic spice. Turns out they all lead to one of those damned whiteboard videos, meaning you have to do more investigation to find out what's going on.
Ultimately, it's a sales pitch for some guy's e-book about using cinnamon to treat diabetes, which (of course) may or many not work, but worse, it seems he's doing the "slamming" scam a lot of unscrupulous online vendors do, where they sign you up for services you either didn't order or were forced to buy because the website conveniently "broke".
Apparently this has been going on for years, and the FTC hasn't done much. :P
