  • my blog description is "what do you want for free?"

I cannot for the life of me remember why it is that.

We also know Anonus well, which helps. And I like your About Me page, Central.

    Aww, thanks!

I actually had to go look at it because I totally forgot what I put there
  • The sadness will last forever.
my blog description is only 2 words. Those words are I and Dunno.
  • Munch munch, chomp chomp...
    Yes, it's thorough and succinct.
  • This is a blog. Poetry
shows up on it sometimes, as does Homestuck, arguments about social
justice, cats and more cats. Enjoy your stay.

How descriptive of you, past Yarrun.

  • My main 8log description is pretty much descri8ing that it's a Vriska 8log and my side8log is kind of a listing of the sorts of things I'll post.

Also I think a lot of people (well, the social justicey ones) list their sexuality 8ecause they also list other things that show their privileges and/or oppressions. Why I don't know; I mean I can see listing your gender and may8e your age (or at least letting people know if you're over 18 for NSFW/smut reasons) 8ut I really don't care whether the people I follow are fat or have a medical condition when I go to look at their side8ar. I figure that I can get some of that from their posts and selfies if they really want ti known. Then again I try to avoid the social justice-y stuff* especially on Tum8lr

*socializing with Justice does not count as social justice ::::P

Ahahaha, nice way of putting it.

I'm not incredibly social on Tumblr anyhow. :P

I find accusations of joke copying incredibly triggering.

Also Carlos Mencia, ironically for completely different reasons.
  • I don't have a blog description because dichotomy doesn't include one.
  • “I'm surprised. Those clothes… but, aren't you…?”
    ^^ Carl9s Mencia is terri6ly pr96lematic. If y9u have the time, I have written a sh9rt essay 9n his 69dy 9f w9rk...

I can't tell if this is a zen statement of some sort or if your blog theme is called "dichotomy".
  • if the latter is the case you could simply add one
  • My blog theme is one of the defaults because I am uncreative.

mine is a heavily edited redux edit

it is alllllmost perfect except the little icon bar is too short and i am not sure how to extend it u_u
  • “I'm surprised. Those clothes… but, aren't you…?”
I like your theme quite a bit.
  • why thank you, i did a fair amount of it myself. ^w^

I made mine out of sheer CSS code, LIKE A MAN!

Sadly, I have no idea how to give this shit to someone else, though...
  • My theme on my main 8log is kind of eye-searing due to 8eing Vriska 8lue and then the orange and yellow from the Hero of Light god tier color theme. 8ut I love the Vriska pic I put in my side8ar.

My theme is Redux, better known as the old old default theme, but with lots of shoddy tweaks I've added over the years.
  • My theme, as of last night, is the free version of Kinley by UntitledThemes, for the second time.

I like it but the lack of infinite scrolling in the free version might or might not be a dealbreaker. I dunno.

also generally I keep my themes pretty in line with the original versions except with randomized backgrounds a lá the old MTV.com

additionally, I'm not sure who came up with it first but I also used a smidge of JavaScript to have a random tidbit about me show up every time the page loaded like how CA has the "No Right Turn On Red", "Yield to Both Lanes in Roundabout," etc. in her infobox

if you couldn't tell, I wanted to make it so that no two visits to Trespeak were alike

@Tre: IllFlower actually wrote that script for me, because I was bugging people on IRC about it. :P

Oh, and he wrote that dichotomy theme too.

Agreed. Makes it easier to find things that are more than a day or two old.

    Very much so.

I like infinite scrolling, mostly because I'm a fan of masonry-style themes and it looks weird if you use one of those without it. Hence why I'm not sure if I'm gonna stick with Kinley for very long even though I love basically everything else about it.

Also, the lack of free Tumblr themes that fit my taste nowadays is annoying. I dunno about you guys but I like stuff like Kinley and Magazine, my old theme. I feel like those real popular ones that use that weeny text and emphasize the sidebar are good for a certain kind of poster but not me, but every free one I find is either overused like crazy or is one of those.

I miss the old theme garden. Frakkin' Tumblr figured they could make a profit off of it and made it damn near unusable in the process.
  • Frankly, infinite scrolling can and should be done better than tumblr does it, but at least in the abstract I still prefer it to pagination.
  • “I'm surprised. Those clothes… but, aren't you…?”
Today is apparently the 40th anniversary of a very important back-to-school party...
  • if only somebody'd thought to record it.

(hell maybe someone did, I've always just kind of assumed)
  • man, tumblr feels boring now
  • Munch munch, chomp chomp...
I don't go on there unless I'm bored, and even then it doesn't last long.
  • The sadness will last forever.
i tend to be kind of dramatic when someone unfollows me unless they've become a jerk
  • READ MY CROSS SHIPPING-FANFICTION, DAMMIT!

I don't even bother to figure out who left if I'm unfollowed.

I used to be kinda paranoid that I'd have to deal with a tumblr person bugging me if I unfollowed them, but I pretty much pruned that hedge already without issue.
  • I have a generic-y description shuttered away on one of my blog pages.
  • I usually try to find out who unfollowed me since I've 8een accidentally unfollowed several times (people clicking on unfollow instead of dash8oard or Tum8lr messing up) and I also worry that I somehow accidentally offended people or something.
  • You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
I have a lot of followers who aren't people I really, like, even know, so if someone unfollows me, instead of trying to figure out who it is, I just do a cursory glance to make sure my friends are all still there.

I used to worry about that a lot, but I am slowly ceasing to care. My blog basically consists of anything that strikes my fancy short of pornography or flagrant gore. Those who can accept that, will accept that.

is it wrong that the new anon avatar kinda bothers me

not because it's bad or anything, but just because it seems like change for the sake of change
  • I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat
You mean the shapes with eyes?

No, those I kinda understand, since having different ones at least helps you tell apart blogs that haven't uploaded avatars.

I meant the one for Anonymous asks: image
  • “I'm surprised. Those clothes… but, aren't you…?”
Someone pointed out that no-one can take anonymous hate messages seriously with those shades, and for that reason, I approve. Plus, it reminds me of Dave Strider's Stiller shades, which always makes me smile.

I didn't like them at first either, but now they're starting to grown on me. I mean, it's not like they're shady anything. I like the "character" it adds, since now they're not just some grey body, but a grey head.
  • I've said it before and I'll say it again; if everyone on Tumblr who said they would never had kids actually never had kids, we wouldn't have a sustainable population.

    Teenagers can be so myopic.

I dunno man, I'd think population problems would be better. There are a LOT of people.
