the pacifist ending was like, the best game experience ever, but having it spoiled would probably have diminished it for me, i liked being surprised by how different it was

the neutral ending was very unsatisfying, i believe deliberately so

There are no resets that actually stop you from playing the game. Nothing can stop you from just playing the game.

Nonetheless, once you kill Toriel, if you do, it's made rather clear how the game feels about killing. It's fair, I think.
