A couple of people didn't know who I was when I went as Oswald in 2013, but that's a given.

I was a meter maid once for the purpose of giving out annoying tickets to people and everyone assumed sexy cop. Halloween sexiness is ruining everything.

I went as Link and people assumed I was Peter Pan. I cried, IIRC. I was six. It seemed the reasonable thing to do at the time. One of the kids present came up to me later and he was like "oh yeah I know who Link is" and that made me feel better.

And then when I was in... eighth grade I think I went as a traffic wizard, as in I wore a safety vest, held a stop sign as a staff, and had a traffic cone as a hat. It was a joke I stole from Demitry Martin.

Oh! I also went as the slender man in ninth grade but even if someone would've recognized me I wasn't aware of the existence of morph suits and just wore some weird completely black mask instead.
