I have to say though, this was the first update in a while to evoke some feels out of me. As much as I dislike Vriska, there's something about having your supportive friend abandon you that just seems tragic.
That update made me tear up a little. Aondeug put it best, honestly. She said the saddest part is how a character who could redeem herself is just digging a deeper hole for herself.

She's pulling a 180 in that she's (or rather Hussie) is going out their way to make her look sympathetic instead of the self-centered jerk that she usually is.
Sure, it's not a true change of heart, but it's enough to send the fandom into a feels-induced coma, so it might as well be a full 180.
