for a long time there were a lot of hilariously over the top rumors about how SGP achieved that sound.

I think the generally agreed-upon explanation now is just that he runs them back and forth through a tape recorder a bunch of times.

yeah it's definitely

he sort of tries to do the waka flocka thing where he just sort of hammers words into your head until they stick, but he's not nearly as charismatic as Waka Flocka.
