    I'm relatively conservative and functional until I want to be fun.  And since we're designing a building to amuse ourselves, we might as well go nuts.

    Also, replace Beaux-Arts with straight-up (neo)classical.

    Also, what's the style of architecture that's used most commonly for modern suburban buildings in western countries?  Like, white drywalls, simple handrails on stairs, etc.
