Comedians who feign idiocy and act like fools vary at how well they portray that, shall we say, fooldom. The best are the ones who imitate it quite closely and don't exaggerate it -- exaggerating the stupidity of others is one of the most common mistakes in humor.
YTMND pages actually vary greatly in their mechanism of humor -- while some rely heavily on text, others have no text and exist only to show an animated gif alongside music. and sometimes, the background image contains the text instead, for whatever reason. they also vary greatly in funniness.
i don't think the original YTMND is that funny. it is, however, memorable.
