I guess the way I see it is that standing for the anthem is an expression of pride for your country, and whether or not you stand for it should perhaps depend on whether or not you're proud of your country's actions and/or the state of things in you…
Talking about old games makes me wonder what were the first games you ever played?
I think it was old school Atari games, like Tron, for me.
I'm surely dating myself by sharing this, but the first game I ever remember playing was "Hunt The Wumpus"…

I got at least part of that when I heard it, like that it's a way of saying some people just insist on trying to do the impossible, but it still sounds kind of odd, at least to me. It doesn't ruin the movie or anything, it's just odd.
Been binging on Nostalgia Critic lately and that's where I heard it. (I also heard it when I watched the movie the first time, but that was way back when it was first released, so I'd forgotten about it.) Here are some alternate lines which may also…
Fortunately I no longer have that problem to worry about; I got a cow off of some kid, Had to part with a few beans, but there's more where those came from.
-Now more robots attack, many more, and as they do laser beams start firing down from the ceiling. Riddler then goes into gloaty mode, telling Catwoman that he will defeat her from prison! Won't that be humiliating? Then he says that he will use som…
-This is similar to Catwoman's mission in Arkham City where she needed three keycards to get into a vault. She lampshades it by wondering "Why is it always three keys?" as she inserts each one into the corresponding slot.
-A door opens behind a mook…
-The mooks talk about how Batman ended up putting most of the criminals in jail, how Penguin's boys aren't getting paid because Penguin lost all the weapons he was selling, Two-Face's boys aren't getting paid because Batman stopped their bank heists…
Oh! Almost forgot that Joker sings a reprise of "Look Who's Laughing Now" over the credits, although it's a slower tempo (I don't know whether to compare it to blues or not) and he sounds pretty broken up.
And so I'm home in the Asylum.Ever alone in…
-Batman goes to the roof where the Bat-Signal is, and the game prompts me to press Space to initiate the Knightfall Protocol. Batman removes his mask, looks down at it, and then drops it by the signal light. He radios Gordon that it's done, Gotham's…
@MetaFour: I suppose so. Ah well, sequence-breaking FTW I guess.
About the end of that side mission: I looked up what else could happen, and the outcome I picked was one of three possible ones you can choose. The sword that Azrael surrendered to Bat…
-More mook chatter: "Man, Batman gets unmasked, puts away Scarecrow and he's still out there! Take a night off already, you playboy vigilante nutcase!"
-This next cache is in a water filtration plant, and Batman needs Alfred to look at the city blue…
-Azrael's ready for the next challenge, which Batman says is the toughest yet. He's up againt several ninja. That ain't so tough. There's more to it, right?
-Nope. Batman returns and says Azrael is to be commended and he'll contact him when he's mad…
-Seeing Azrael again has Batman pit him against another group of simulated mooks. Huh, I was expecting a predator challenge. I guess maybe next time. Anyhoo, these guys are slightly tougher in that they have a medic with them who revives his unconsc…
-Oh, wow. At the last of the three banks Two-Face is hitting, the mooks are saying it's the biggest one in Gotham so they're gonna try to set a record--hell, set TWO records for their boss' sake. Which means that this time there are TWO trucks busti…
-Another cop says that after everything that's happened they still didn't lose their heads; they remembered who they are and what they do. Which is good, she says, because last thing they need is any prisoners prosecuting them.
-Okay, Two-Face's guy…
-Riddler's voice rings out across the city and says hello there, "Bruce Wayne". Then he says that it's a noble effort I've put into this implausible charade, but he's not falling for it. There's no way he's been thwarted time and again by some spoil…
-Things change. The green eye turns blue. The camera zooms out. It's Bruce Wayne, back on the gurney, back in reality. Scarecrow is speaking into a camera pointed at him, with Bruce behind him. Crane asks if Gotham understands that it has no more sa…
-You can shoot the phonograph if you want. Anyway, Joker moves on, and of course Two-Face is next. He says he can't let me leave here alive, not after what I've just done. Joker lowers his gun and laughs; he's the clown prince of chaos, the jester o…
-Joker says hi to everybody and mentions he had a devil of a time tracking them down. Penguin doesn't get it, because THEY caught HIM. Joker is amused, telling Cobblepot he was always cruel but never cunning. Then he tells "Croc, old boy" he'd bette…
-I'm at the studios now and taking the elevator down. Joker, do you have anything to say? Oh, I was expecting him to pop up. Well, I'm sure he will soon enough. The ride is pretty quick. Now to check on Tim.
-Okay, Harley's in the cell I left her in…
-Barbara hacks one of the tanks and that doesn't result in it fighting on my side, but she does tell me that as soon as I shoot the thing it'll trigger an EMP. So I do and it does and that makes things easier. Then she hacks another one and tells me…
