What are the moral implications of refusing to tattle on somebody?
One of my coworkers decided she needed to stop the conveyor belt, which we aren't actually allowed to do without permission from our line lead
We knew said coworker would get reprimanded if our line lead found out, so we collectively decided we "didn't see" who pushed the button
I mean I like our line lead but I'm not about to get somebody in trouble for something minor if I can help it, you know?

If people are causing issues, in my experience saying anything won't do much other than get you labeled a troublemaker if management doesn't care and will render you essentially redundant if management already cared in the first place

the job thing, well i wanted to renew my contract, they wanted me to renew my contract, i asked if i could renew for 6 months/1 year and they said no, only 3 months or 9 months, for reasons (???) and that made no sense for me, so i didnt renew
then they changed their minds and offered me 6 months but by then i had already decided to get a different job that didn't expect me to teach a curriculum designed for a.class of 12-15 to 23 students and that wasnt woefully understaffed, wheee
I should actually break down my music production over this past year for folks who missed some of it the first time (which happens a lot since I generally put out ~1 album a month). Especially since some of it wasn't even on my albums.
Meanwhile, I put out a grand total of one album, one EP and some singles this year, which is more than my 2015 output but not nearly as much as what I got out in 2014.
I think a big part of why my output has slowed down is that I don't quite feel like I can do everything I want with Audiotool anymore but I've internalized its workflow so much that any other DAW feels foreign. I think I'm gonna just suck it up and try to get Ableton down again, but I dunno. Whether I stick with AT or not I want it to be clear with my next release that I am trying to evolve and sound better, which has been the point with most of my releases (except maybe ⌘, that one was pretty much just for fun) but hasn't gotten across as well as I wish it could.
reminds me of actual psychology too... there's this thing about "affordances", where certain kinds of psychology will say a coffee cup affords grasping, and importantly they treat this as a physical property like weight or location and people get mad about that
