Is it strange to have story anxiety? I'm anxious that my story has gone down a dark path that I wasn't intending it to go down and I'm worried that it's falling into wagnst territory.
it is not strange to feel insecure/anxious about your creative works. in fact it is one of the most common reasons why people give up on being creative
i would say to push on through without trying to check yourself as you write, editing is when you should be sitting down going 'am i wangsting', if you're asking yourself 'is this too good/bad' as you write your first draft you'll never get anything done because you'll be too busy worrying to write
and remember my favourite Hemingway quote: 'The first draft of anything is shit.' i bet even the first draft of that quote was shit.
You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
Oh! I figured it out.
I'll spoilertext it for anyone who still wants to guess:
Spoiler:
From "Sredni Vashtar":
"His thoughts were red thoughts and his teeth were white."

I need Christmas-related content to celebrate this lovely November 1st
I'd rewatch Phelous or AVGN stuff but I want things I haven't seen before
I found the last person who thinks of Baby Boomers as liberal young snots.
a justice system based on long prison sentences such as that the "baby boomers" in the united states tended to support in the 80s and 90s, while definitely cruel in and of itself, are still better than the earlier system over-reliant on the death penalty. a good cartoon.

Assassin poems, Poems that shoot
guns. Poems that wrestle cops into alleys
and take their weapons leaving them dead

i guess since i first saw it as plain black unicode symbols it didn't occur to me that it would be about the colours
Whatever color that thing is, do it
I think if the thing was done it'd be... argyle? I dunno, I don't even know why I have argyle-things.
Or it'd be... hmm... sparkly?

the whole point is to write, you can worry about changing it later
