Evangelist materials (including Chick tracts) don't usually attempt to convince you to know Jesus spiritually, they just provide a bare-bones description of his life as described in the Bible and a handful of references to verses if you want to look it up.
Having been presented with such materials it is assumed you are now in possession of everything you need in order to become a true believer and if you don't you're a terrible person.

this is because they're looking at things from the position they are already at, not from the position of an outsider looking in.
for the people writing these unhinged evangelical materials spiritual knowledge it is so fundamentally connected to the logical knowledge that they have a hard time understanding how other people may have these forms of knowing as separate things, so they assume that simply being informed of the facts will impart the spiritual revelation
and then by that logic people who already know the facts, but do not have the spiritual knowledge must be in league with evil, because they must be actively denying the spiritual revelation
