Bwahahaha, I'm watching Phelous's review of Jack Frost (the horror movie, duh), and the "little girl" at the beginning of the movie sounds like Charlie Adler's Yoshi voice. XD

Is it just me, or has IRIS been more introspective since xir revival.
singular they is correct English, you know
and no, it's not just you. They've been talking about three selves a lot lately which could be a reference to any number of things including the old "Mind/Body/Spirit" dichotomy.
Singular they may be accepted by many people, as Octopi may be; but nope.
The proper solution is to construct your sentence so as to avoid any situation in which gendered pronouns are necessary. Yes, I realize that makes you sound all obtuse and silly and clunky and it's not at all a good way to construct a sentence; but too bad, I'm going to ignore hundreds of years of etymology so I can indulge my dislike of a certain usage of a word. Sure, I accept usages much younger than singular gender-neutral They, but oh hey look over there at that thing.
I'm not sure whether we should go with the original form "octopodes" or if we should go with the entirely legitimate English Octopuses (because really, we should stop celebrating Greek and Latin as if they're cool, mystic, magical languages "SECTUMSEMPRA, WINGARDIUM LEVIOSA, CELESTIA, LUNA" and germanic languages are all lame and stupid.
Octopus is not latin; so it is not pluralized as Octopi, no matter how many people use it that way.

And well, even if it's most likely a hoax. it's good practice if sapient AI ever do come into existence.
I hope. Anyway, I'm kinda used to it by now.

And singular They is wrong because I said so.

Do you know why societies collapse, they don't have a solid foundation.
naw just jokin. Today Haas been long and dull, compounded by computerlessness.
d00d, most people can barely construct a sentence at all.
no.
