ODOT has a tendency to make the lettering on their orange patches unnecessarily large. (Compare the height of "LEFT LANE" to that of "Cincinnati"). I've never really understood it, and a lot of the time it results in ugly things like the patch being too big for the sign.
The times you can use MBarrier vs. the times you use Barrier are outweighted. MBarrier clearly doesn't provide enough protection against more important attacks like Shadow Flare, Diamond Flash and many other strong attacks, and Barrier helps ward off meat-strikes easier since it covers more attacks beyond Firaga and the like.
MBarrier needs more justification for it's existence.

I don't think I've ever seen orange patches on signs where I live. If there are any orange signs, they're usually placed on the roadside or block the lane they're intended to close off.
