I got all the stats maxed EXCEPT dexterity, which I always had minimum. This was loads easier to do; only having to get three or maybe four on dexterity instead of 18; saving fourteen or fifteen nap points. Thus, I always favored the species with high maximums in the other attributes and low maximums in dexterity.
And then I would get the gauntlets of Dexterity, which set your dexterity to 18. They're easy to get; and you can get them really early in the game at the Gnoll fortress.
So, in the 2012 remake; which I have and which works on Nova Computadorus; the Dwarves cannot have more than 16 dexterity.
So, of course, I played a Dwarf, napped a few times; and ended up having a max in everything except Dexterity, which was at the minimum of 2. 'Twas a slow, slow, slow dwarf on a slow, slow, slow, slow computer.
And then I gets the Gauntlets of Dexterity; and I have 18 dexterity on a dwarf that was supposed to have 2; and never more than 16.
Also, I uninstalled the games that I wasn't playing anymore (when I start playing with them again, I'll reinstall them).
The more I think about it, I think algebra’s the most human form of mathematics, at least out of the ones that we all took in high school.
Calculus is important for divining the deep mysteries of the world, and trigonometry is useful for explaining the physical world, but algebra’s what we use to live.
We use letters like x and y as variables in the education system, but there are a lot of other variables that we rely on every day. Like happiness. Or success, or justice, or humor, or love. The things that we, as a culture, want. The things we need. The things that we work towards every day. And because there’s no general consensus on the proper definitions, we have to take all this data from the media and the people around us and the things that we see every day when we walk back to our homes, and we have to glean answer from that giant mass. Given human existence as you know it, define happiness. Given y, define x.
Except we have to check our work continuously because we never have enough information. And we don’t have teachers to check our work. We just wake up one day with the feeling that something’s gone horribly wrong with our lives.
I also liked the Gender-Changing belt and the Helm of Opposite Alignment. It was fun to suddenly turn your good female into an evil male; or your good male into an evil female; or vice versa, or versa vice.
I liked to pretend that it was some sort of split personality; so I would send my former party away in a tavern (so I could get them back when I decided to be my character's former alignment) and join up with all the people on the other side.
I mean, seriously, the Helm of Opposite alignment is awesome.

Part of the fun of being good with left and right-handed subjects is being able to mash them together when it pleases me. Which I can't usually do. But when I can do it, it's so awesome.

This post deserves a worthy response. Such a response would require time that I don't have.
We were just the guys who made the threads. You're the guy who weaved the whole thing into a tapestry of pig bones, wax beetles and antinatalist sharks.
When I am learning things in Logic, yes, it's pretty enjoyable. It's just that, for the most part, I feel like I'm missing all the important things. Particularly when I'm doing problem sets.

Suddenly, I had a fast dwarf on a fast computer.
You know what happened?
I ran into traps and my dwarf died.
