This unpopular opinion started a conversation on IRC yesterday but I will say it here: I disapprove of violent revolutions. u_u I wish the colonies had settled their issues with the king peacefully.

I would wish for Touhou duct tape instead but Touhou-derivativeness is restricted to independent creators so that way it does not become too 'commercialized.'
Given that July 4th is fast approaching, what do people think about having a USA (avatar) theme? I was thinking about suggesting that idea in the Avatar Themes thread, but I was not really sure whether that would be worth the double post.
One thing that is interesting though: Old oil wells that were apparently powered by purpose-built windmills. This is country that likely wasn't electrified until the 1970s, so...
Sings you're super freaking bored: You see a random shopping center on some show on ID, say "hey, wait, that looks like the DC area, not wherever this is supposed to be!", and do some digging and find out it's a shopping center in Frederick, MD, of all places. :P
Discovery is based in Silver Spring, about an hour's drive away, so it makes sense. Oh, and the giveaway is that the shopping center had a barely-hidden Safeway in it; there aren't any Safeways on the east coast outside of the DC area, and it certainly didn't look like Northern California or Arizona!
