Also, I'm watching this new episode of Deadly Sins, and the guy featured looks and acts like a human Eridan. Inappropriate lust, obsession, and eventually bloody murder. And he has the fucking hipster glasses. :P

What if ABC Inc made a contract and became a MAGICAL MEDIA CONGLOMERATE

I keep toying with the idea of swapping out my Xubuntu for vanilla Ubuntu (and thus braving Unity).
I've kinda grown tired of XFCE, and I realized that I prefer many/most GNOME apps to their XFCE equivalents (including Nautilus)...
Fixed my yearbook profile: "There once was a young girl from Wonderland. Life was merry and jolly, and she would spend days on end frolicking around the wide open fields with the Cheshire Cat and co. But, one day, she came across a rabbit hole and fell down it to land in the Real World. Gone were the days of having tea parties with the Mad Hatter and March Hare. The days of exams and work were here to stay. And that, kids, is why rabbit holes are dangerous."

It's been months since we had a proper power outage here.
By "proper" I mean the kind where you actually have to sit around and find something to do while you wait for it to be fixed, not the kind where everyone bitches for 20 minutes then the lights come back on.
I seem to be the only person in the universe who actually wants a power outage, too. That perplexes me. Why is the idea of taking a day off to sit around with some candles instead of carrying out your monotonous daily routine such a bad thing to most people?

Britishisms have been slowly creeping into my speech ever since I became obsessed with Doctor Who when I was 17.
One I still notice sometimes: I tend to use "bit" where most Americans would use "part". "I liked the bit with the pegasus.", "Did you miss that bit at the end there?", etc.
I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat
