Sounds like around here....not much to explore except infrastructure-related stuff (water, sewer, concrete plants and quarries), and a lot of that is better viewed on Google or Bing anyway.

This is a difficult question because of the range of styles they have. But, I'm inclined to consider Pink a really good all-around one. Personally, I started with Amplifier Worship, which is good too but more on the drone-y side.

You know what's bizarre to think about? People regularly travel faster than humanly possible.
To travel from Knoxville, TN to Chattanooga, TN by car takes about two hours. The distance between the two cites, by road, is 112 miles. You can travel over one hundred miles in less than the time it takes to watch three episodes of Doctor Who.
Remember back in the 50s when they'd record like Elvis singing YOU AIN'T NOTHIN BUT A HOUND DOG and then they'd turn the record over and reverse it and it was all NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP and people were all like, "That is actually the voice of Satan coming from that song."
