What else do you call rambling walls of texts that quote Richard Dawkins at his worst?  It certainly didn't appear to be going anywhere, but I digress.  Greater minds than mine were involved, and perhaps I only saw the worst of it.

I don't know how to use the English Language anymore; and I am unworthy.

Honestly, I post long, rambling walls of text because I have slow, overcomplicating thought processes, which I suck at condensing into concise sentences.  It's not a good habit.

I didn't think either of us was acting butthurt but whatevs, trev.

Anonus, I have a question and I think you're the person to ask

How hard would it be to take the letters from that comic I posted above and turn it into a font I could use?

^There's some program that lets you import vectorized letters and turns them into font characters but I don't remember its name...
  • Doctor Who reference in Pokemon B2W2? Headcanon accepted.
The artist's name is SSgt Packwood and I think that from here on out I'd like use his font for my comics

I'd be taking a Korean War USMC legacy and working into my own work and that's just a baller idea I think
  • some days I am thoroughly convinced my life is being written by the world's worst comedian.

I went to work today, right?

Turns out I did not have work today.

So I call my house to have one of my parents pick me up.

    They don't answer.

Can't do work cuz I'm part-time and thus cannot work off my schedule.

So I have to sit in the break room

    for three fucking hours

til my stepdad finally shows up.

I am expected to go into work tonight again, but I'm not, because somewhere along the line, I got sick too.

On the other hand I met the general overnight operations manager and she is so nice.

I need to find the first one, as a comic artist his stuff is beyond pro, up there with Mauldin

Reading about cable TV's business model bothers me somewhat

The media execs say that a la carte would not provide a good product value to the consumer (who's to say the cable companies won't start charging $50/month for USA Network or ESPN?) but what's obvious is that they profit greatly from the all-or-nothing model and they want to keep it around

Yeah, but can you think of any other major consumer goods or purchases that run on this fucked-up model?

Imagine going to the store because you love, say, oatmeal. Peaches n' cream oatmeal. Well, the only way you can buy oatmeal is if you get it in a package deal that includes jalapenos, potato chips, pork chops, Wonder bread, soy milk, and coffee. Doesn't fucking matter if you hate jalapenos and coffee, that's the only way you're going to get your oatmeal.

Now to get peaches. That's in the package deal with muenster cheese, popcorn shrimp, english muffins, and kool-aid. Why the fuck does cable and dish TV get to fuck over consumers like this?

I don't think forcing this model on consumers is going to last much longer, though. It's already pretty much gone in the music industry (forcing you to buy an entire album for a few songs.) The only show I like to watch on TV is Clone Wars, and well, the internet provides. I'm sure the same goes for most folks who watch stuff like MLP and Breaking Bad.  HBO definitely learned this the hard way with Game of Thrones.

There don't seem to be any, and I keep thinking that in 10-15 years despite struggles from both sides a la carte will be here to stay.

    Hopefully without those stupid prices...

    b-but an album is a complete work of art. ;_;

Frida Kahlo: Not too easy on the eyes. I mean she’s got the lady-mo and the monobrow thing going on. She didn’t know where to put her blush or what shade lipstick would obviously suit her skin tone. Really, she’s a bit of a wreck. So this got me to thinking. What would have happened if her girlfriends had done the right thing and taken her to a beautician, (which clearly needed to happen)? I did a subtle re-paint over the top of her original self-portrait to “conceptualize” what it would have looked like if she had been whisked off to Beauty Works or the likes….I didn’t want to alter the integrity of the original painting too much. What do you reckon?
