One thing I've noticed is that Google Maps always has some kind of blatant error going on, even if it's usually corrected in a month or two.
Earlier this year they had "U.S. Route X in Y" in state Z. So you'd see something like "U.S. Route 6 in Illinois" in Colorado. It was like someone had tried copying the syntax of Wikipedia article titles into the map data.

Re: Right turn on red: I had an amusing conversation with an Australian IRC buddy a while back. Apparently the idea of turning while the light is still red is mind-blowing to people outside America.

Got two awesome CD's from a band called "Blackbeard's Tea Party", who can only be described as folky pirate music with electric guitars. I saw the band the playing in town today and immediately bought both albums :3
