Gannett would sell WUSA-TV to a group of benches in 2000. However, they quickly sold the station back to Gannett after experiencing persistent insomnia due to the station's constant demands that it be fed gourmet spiders.

Where does one purchase gourmet spiders? CA Marketplace?

I'm now nostalgic for the Kroger on Bethel Road, near where I used to live. It was new at the time, and as such was my parents' favored Kroger--though I personally preferred the older store on Henderson Road (which I think was actually closer, as well.)
Both Krogers are still there, but I imagine neither of them look like they once did.

A long, long time ago--I think I was 13--I had this dream where I was in a high school with white walls. Like, very VERY white walls. I wandered around a bit, then went outside, where I crossed a small, deserted street and entered another building--where I found myself in the back of a small Wal-Mart.
Then I went near the front of the Wal-Mart to go to the restrooms, but the restrooms were down this side hallways that didn't look like it was supposed to be open to the public--the walls were unpainted cinder block, the floor was unfinished concrete, and it was dimly lit with some lights that glowed the same diseased-looking orange as a city streetlamp. And there was a woman--and I went in the women's restroom--I don't remember a lot of the details, it was 8 years ago.

...I'm listening to Christmas music right now, for some reason.
It's kind of bittersweet. It reminds me that I still have the holiday season ahead to look forward to, but it also reminds me that there are 4 weeks left in this damn quarter before I get to relax and enjoy the holiday season.

You know in 3 months I'll be old enough to legally walk into Meijer and buy beer? How the fuck did I get so old so fast?
Oh god, I'm even older now that I was when I said that.

For some reason "Or maybe I'M ON DRUGS" is still funny to me.
I don't know what to think about the rest of it, though it does seem to have some truth to it (like me not looking forward to/enjoying holidays as much this year.).

You know what I want my career to be? I want to design signs.
I love signs. Not just road signs, all sorts of signs. I just love signs in general.
...What kind of degree would I need to design signs?

The white made the school feel very sterile. Almost hospital-like.

Yeah, it's funny...at the time I had the dream, I had (in real life) just started attending a brand-new high school, that had those cream-colored walls. So the pure white walls of the dream school immediately stuck out to me.
I do wonder why public schools never seem to have actual white walls, though.

I feel good right now. I finished my speech, which went much better than my last one, and it turns out the writing assignment I thought was due Wednesday is actually due next Monday.
To top it off, class ended early and I'm about to head home.

Hm. I think I've been waiting for this. Who knows I'm finally going to get it, if ever.
Don't know about lucky. I think I'd be a lot more productive and focused and whoatnot if I had it.
Though maybe we're talking about different epiphenomena.

...also, I'm using Mother's Netflix account to watch "Rose".
