I liked English classes but I often felt like they would stay on one book just a little too long. It seems like there's a point where I "get the point" and everything beyond that just irritates me.
Granted, I was the same way about most of my classes. I kinda still am...it seems like I pick up on things quicker than a lot of my peers sometimes, so while the professor is explaining factoring for the nth time, I'm over here going "Ugh, I get it already!"

Not really. Its quite an interesting facet of contemporary culture, the way the struggle between authenticity and what is seen as inauthentic by ingroups has achieved a new prominence, exacerbated by a world of instant communication and permanence of images fostered by the emergence of the internet, and we are now all forced to confront it and find how we relate to it whether we like it or not.
