  the pacifist ending was like, the best game experience ever, but having it spoiled would probably have diminished it for me, i liked being surprised by how different it was
  
  the neutral ending was very unsatisfying, i believe deliberately so

  Nonetheless, once you kill Toriel, if you do, it's made rather clear how the game feels about killing. It's fair, I think.

  I knew a lot of the creatures that wanted me dead, like Undyne, weren't actually evil. And I felt really bad about killing Toriel, maybe I should have reset after that...
