I like how TV Tropes has a picture of Peridot with her limb enhancers on the "Homeworld Gems" page but a picture of her without them on the "Crystal Gems" page.

Good question.
I'd say my avatar is a much more accurate depiction of her time with the Crystal Gems so far. :P

...what's amazing is that's totally in character for Peridot, if she found out how humans reproduce
I like all the characters, though I had to warm up to Peridot and Garnet.
i was similar
as for Amethyst, she was always fairly likeable, but it took a while for her to really grow on me, whereas Steven and Pearl i loved from the beginning
Garnet was very mysterious at first, and Peridot was like, gleefully petty stock cartoon villain, basically, except now it's apparent that there's a lot more to her character than that and it's kind of fascinating to see how she's changing as a person

I like her because...I don't know, I see a bit of myself in her, somehow? As far as finding human interaction foreign and unintuitive goes, I guess. Also I find her funny.
i find her funny, but like with most of the show it's not something that makes me go "wow i see a lot of myself in [Character]" or something i can extract deep personal meaning from

Basically
Pearl is the only person that I can see myself in, and that's mostly in how she makes mistakes
Peridot was initially just funny to me. She's still funny, but also kinda fascinating. It's hard for me to articulate it but . . . it's something like, she's spent her whole life being constantly indoctrinated into this totalitarian ideology, and she really, really believed in it, and now she's realized that things weren't exactly the way she thought they were, and she's feeling things that don't fit with the opinions she holds. But she's not magically a different person, either. She's grudgingly appreciative of things that she would have hated before, but the things that she believed in still mean something to her.
Actually i suppose i can relate to parts of that, but it's a lot more extreme than anything i've gone through myself, and like i said, it's just fascinating to watch.

Team Rocket, basically
persistent and obnoxious, but funny because she was ineffectual
Mine is in February, which is naturally Amethyst.
