My Stalked Prey infect deck is neat, although it might become obsolete with the release of DKA, given the existence of Increasing Savagery and whatnot.
Yeah but now my one creature can't attack cuz it's got Bonds of Faith or some shit on it.
I'm actually doing okay for a first run though. Currently the only real threat to me on the field (a Golem Token) has been rendered useless by my Skinrender (pun unintentional).
I love how Laboratory Maniac pretty much created a new archetype right away. In fact, I really like alternate win conditions. It's a shame that my Barren Glory deck never got anywhere from the hilarious concept I came up with it.
¿How so? She's a 2/2 for 2, no drawback, and she can save any creature from any sort of death, be it sacrifice, damage, -1/-1 counters, etc., without needing to invest extra mana or wait for summoning sickness to wear off.
well, i was more thinking from a general perspective. it's a good card, of course. but i definetly wouldn't make her a general. Mostly because, well, increasing costs and stuff.
Oh. Not as good as a general as she is in general, but even there she has a lot going for her: she starts out cheap, it's easy to reuse the effect, she'll almost never get controlled or tucked or locked down by Arrest, she can help you take advantage of ETB stuff...hmm.

How much does it suck, and how can I make it not suck?

okay.
I have added some more plague monsters (I am hoping these Plague Myr things work well).
Wish me luck.
BANZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAI
*is probably going to die*
well I won because my opponent could not figure out how to use Cockatrice and forfeited the game while he figures it out.
Yay?

yeah, but I mean.
I have nothing to counter enchantments and so on with.
At all.
Not a single card.

I'm doing alright for a first run, I think, though.
>cast Contagion Engine
>all but one of your opponent's creatures go to the grave.
I am still probably going to lose, but that made me feel awesome. B)
Well I lost by a lot.
Also: The art from counterspell makes me think of the Zelda CDI games.

okay.
Literally a third of my deck is lands (actually a bit over a third), and I seem to be completely incapable of drawing them.
What. the. fuck.
