The thing is, if you combine that with, let's say, Taunting Elf or Prized Unicorn, the opponent will lose a good many of creatures while you only lose one (that is, if the opponent's field is filled with flying creatures).
But they wouldn't have put it on the legend to begin with if there wasn't another reason. Which is that doing things alone is black, as AVR showed up. inb4 obvious masturbation joke
Harbor Bandit intrigues me. I think we're going to be seeing a cycle here (maybe Sedge Troll and Kird Ape'll be reprinted). There's a good chance of more multicolor cards than Bolas here, too. If they go into enemy colors, maybe this'll even be when Kiora shows up.

After looking at Barbasol Flight, I'd be more tempted to use it on my opponent in an attempt tho get a bunch of creatures exiled than ever use it on myself, 'Course it's a sorcery so that'll never work.
Definitely a bit too much mana. I'd say reduce the colorless amount to 3 mana.
Unless you made it an instant, there'd be some good dickery potential in that.

Quicken still exists; never forget. Personally, I don't want to make it an instant. The flavour of the card isn't right for an instant.

In fact, I'm going to turn it into a U/G card. Kind of like Overrun with a bluish flavour. Fits better with the color scheme of the set (Even if it's not really the right flavour for it)
Wow, I did not expect there to be that many cards posted on the M13 spoiler! Whoop whoop, yay to a Serra reprint. However I always really liked that exalted was predominantly a white mechanism, kinda sad it's loosing its identity to black. CURSE YOUR COLOUR WHEEL WIZARDS.
You need to give it a purpose, though. Considering that you're using Lorescale Coatls, I think that a draw-based deck would be pretty good. Use stuff like Edric, Spymaster of Trest, Curiosity, Simic Guildmage, Fate Transfer (To move the counters to other creatures), Cold-Eyed Selkie (A good counter receptor. Plus it nets you cards) Sphinx of Uthuun (Good Nulltread Gargantuan bounce target)
Yeah. Rit has the problem of costing you a card, but it can make for some insane starts. I think that's why Hippie was the most popular thing to Rit out--if it hits once it recoups the card advantage, if it hits twice it puts you one up. Although it would be pretty easy to get two-for-one'd with Bolt or even Shock.
So, I don't know how helpful this is to people but I found a good article on green mana acceleration, figured it might help people out if they're using green to ramp in EDH.

Hmm, Orochi-people. I didn't look at these too closely when I was flipping through the list of Snake creatures, but now they look pretty interesting. I guess if I want to use any of these cards, I should make a Green deck.
I'm not sure I should use a mono-color deck my first time out, though. What other colors would go well with these? Maybe Blue or Black?
Green-blue has some good snakes--Lorescale Coatl, the aforementioned Coiling Oracle, Patagia Viper (quite good with Seshiro and the other legendary ones)--and it has the "for SCIENCE" angle which is always a plus.
Making your first deck monocolored might be a good idea though, you can just throw in 23 forests and be good mana-wise.

Sounds good. I've made a mono-green Orochi deck, and once I get the hang of things, I think I'll move on to green-blue. I'm actually looking forward to making that one because it sounds really interesting.
I'm not sure I'm ready to start a game now, but if anyone's available later this evening (around 8-10ish EDT), that would be nice.
SO I've decided my pet peeve in life is when people steal my stuff in MTG. Therefore I feel I must make an EDH with Kresh as my general which involves gaining control of other peoples creatures and then sacrificing them then reanimating them. Forever shall they remain under my control, FOREVER.
Man, I can't get over how good Sublime Angel is. A 4/3 flyer for 4 is already really good; a 4/3 flyer for 4 that attacks as a 5/4 is great; a 4/3 flyer for 4 that attacks as a 5/4 +1/+1 for each creature you have...I'm gonna call it better than Baneslayer Angel, and that was already insane.
