Raven's Crime seems like it'd be good in EDH. And then there's Sadistic Hypnotist, which could easily empty everypony's hand in conjunction with Spirit Cairn.

Word of advice, don't start cutting land when you're having a tough time figuring it out. I know it's tempting to go from 23 to 22 to fit in one more killer card, but if you know what land count works best for your curve, you shouldn't change it.

But really, you could probably cut out any single card, and chances are the deck would play nearly identically.

30 land? Oh my. That's way too much. 3 Grimoire of the Deads is probably too much unless you really want it, as it's legendary.

Sorry to double post BUT @Naney - I would swap Go for the throat with Diabolic Tutor, especially as you're using a two-coloured deck. You're much more likely to have the appropriate mana to cast it AND it gets through to creatures with protection.

Also, Sorin's Thirst is kinda sucky. (LOL) If you can fit in a kill spell for BB, do Victim of Night.

Well, if you have a heavier curve and non-mana lands, it might not be that far out of the question to have close to that many, but I think 28 is pretty much the absolute maximum for decks that aren't doing anything crazy with them.

Does Legions count as old? One of my favourite Angels is from Legions!

(My Angel deck is in the sleeves and deck box matching the card art for Akroma)

Birds and Llanowar Elves are still staples, and they've been around since the beginning. I'm sure if I took a look, I'd be able to find more. Yeah, Kird Ape was in Revised.

But yes, creatures did get much more efficient.

Ok so as far as old creatures, Revised printed the following which I think count as pretty goddamned impressive:

Serendib Efreet

Hypnotic Specter

Ornithopter (crucial in speedy artifact decks that rely on Metalcraft mechanic)

Hell, Lord of Atlantis is a staple in Merfolk decks.

Even Royal Assassin was printed in Revised.

In addition to the aforementioned Llanowar Elves, BoP & Kird Ape.
