Well, for what it's worth, I made a Trope Repair Shop thread for Legal Jailbait, and despite most attempts to change the fanservicey tropes ending with people getting banned, my suggestions mostly got through without any trouble. So I believe there's some hope for change.

Not a significant amount of hope, but some.

For some reason I find it hard to let go. The only reasons I'd stick around would be to PM people who would be hard to reach otherwise and re-read old posts, at first, but I'm still kind of attached...

It's pretty much imposable for me tolet go. I never let go. It's beyond my ability as a human being. Just like I have little to no controle of the movement of my eyes.

Oddly, at this point I feel the main thing I'm going to miss will be the LGBT thread. It's weird; I know there are entire sites where I could discuss that kind of thing but I've grown fond of many of that thread's regulars.

I've thought about leaving Tvtropes quite a few times throughout the last few months. Like AU, the old Trash Heap was the main draw for me, and that's gone so there's kind of a void.

The only reason that I'm still there is because I'm still attached to the Homestuck/Touhou fandoms and I like to stay in easy contact with the Heapers, if only for Magic games and whatnot.

I am still too attached, although I suspect it is mostly to memory. Without TVT I'd never have met people who are very dear to me.

I don't remember why I joined the TVTropes forum.

It was an interesting ride while it lasted, but nothing lasts forever (unless of course, Lockonlockon gets my ban appealed, but even then I'd only be posting in the RP boards).

From the site as a whole? Yack Fest, OTC, etc.? Certainly.

Uuuunfortunately, when pulling my little stunt I had not considered that being banned makes it impossible for me to post in Mythril Aces, the RP that has arguably been my biggest contribution to the forum.

So yeah. I'm looking to get it repealed on the condition that I don't post anywhere else but the RP boards.

I doubt it'll go through, but it's worth a try.

I got known in December of 2008, and I found the forums in June of 2009, not long after I Am Not Making This Up was axed, and not long after the forums started being included in the site's search results.
