I think I like Street Fighter controls better than Mortal Kombat controls. Or maybe Injustice is just overly newb-friendly. Besides the horrible starting configuration, I feel like SF forces you to actually master stuff. At least, some characters do (insert shotoclone and Sagat rant here). Injustice made me feel like I was winning through button-mashing and stage hazards.
There was nothing good about the plot. Arkham City at least had some heart put into it. Mostly soulless corporate branding, but some heart. This? This was thrown together three days before voice recording began. Or possibly three days after voice recording began. And it takes itself so seriously! Like this is the best possible adaption of the Justice Lords episode! At least the Street Fighter plots embrace how ridiculous they are.
There was a part where Superman specifically states that they should change their strategy to prevent collateral damage. The very next part of gameplay is Black Adam throwing cars at you and you blowing them up. Cars that are being driven.
It's kinda funny how some people speak of voice acting in videogames as if it's a standard thing.
I don't know about you, but to me, they're at best a luxury and at worst a thing that bloats up the filesize and budget.
Maybe it's sorta odd since I do talk about how much I like immersion.
But then again, I think I got used to imagining voices a long time ago. Now, ironically, the voices being different from those in my imagination breaks my immersion more...
Summary: You're on a freedom fighter/terrorism mission. Your goal is to survive. The gameplay revolves around what you'll have to do in order to do that. Things happen in a slightly random fashion, unless you choose the standardized version. Not that you should. That's the easy way out. So you gradually learn about what can happen at any given time during a level, and you have to prepare to combat those things while still fulfilling your primary goal.
Is there anyone out there who does not already have the Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire demo who would like to play it? It looks like I have an extra demo code for some reason.
i wanna play games but have no money, anybody have any recommendations for free games?

also Daggerfall is possibly the only fantasy game where a servant of an emperor can tell you to visit the royal family of a fiefdom, only for that family to have nothing to say to you at all
So, been playing a good bit of Total War: Shogun 2. It's a lot of fun, though it does have a bit of a learning curve. Once you get past it though, it is a very addicting game if you like strategy games, in a "just one more turn" kinda way. If you do buy it, get the Gold Edition, since the Gold Edition has both of the "Rise of the Samurai" and "Fall of the Samurai" expansion packs. And it's only 20 bucks too.
The only real problem I have is that sometimes when I'm playing, there will be a a moment where everything will choke and slow down for a second or two before going back up to normal speed. I'm not sure if this is a problem with the game itself, or if it's just my computer choking for a bit because of the strain of playing the game.
More people have said that and been killed than there are thorium decay products.
I have Risk of Rain already. Teleglitch is a roguelike. If no one else wants it, you could give it to Byakuren. She eats up roguelikes like I eat up danmakus. Anyway, Risk of Rain's soundtrack. <3

Sometimes I get nostalgia for when I would comb through used game stores and order games off the internet, and put an actual disk in a console. Look at me, getting with the times and feeling nostalgic. :v
So, the difference between a normal campaign and a hard campaign in Total War: Shogun 2 feels significantly large. The AI is much more aggressive and land-grabby in comparison to normal difficulty. In my Date campaign, besides the fact that I had to restart the campaign 3 times, I've had the Uesugi and the Satomi declare war on me right after the Uesugi attacked my neighbors, the Hatakeyama, who were pretty much the only friendly clan close to me. While I was in the middle of finishing them off, the Takeda declared war on me. After spending about 20 turns going back and forth with the Takeda I finally got the upper hand, when the Ikko Ikki and the Imagawa decided it was time to take a stab at me, probably because the Imagawa were allied to the Takeda. Thankfully, the Imagawa only had two territories, because they had been on a losing streak, so I wiped them out pretty quickly. I captured two Ikko Ikki territories and they quickly asked for peace and then had the balls to ask for a trade agreement, which I said yes to, because I needed the money. This let me focus on finishing off the Takeda, which led to the Ikko Ikki breaking our trade agreement and declaring war on me again and the Hojo declared war on me too. Thankfully I have positioned myself so that they can only attack me at 3 choke points and I have all of those points well defended, so I can just defend for a time while I build up my navy, my infrastructure and my spare koku, so that I'll be prepared when Realm Divide hits (which is where you get powerful enough that every other clan decides you've gotten too powerful and declares war on you). But it's definitely been much more difficult playing on hard, as normal feels pretty easy once you get a feel for the game. And there are two difficulty settings above hard, as well as a battle realism mode, so this isn't even close to how hard the game can be.
Anyone here in the market for Nuclear Throne? I crafted a Tiny & Big badge and got a coupon for 33% off of the game (which doesn't appear to be on sale right now) until December 3rd with the resulting payload.
I'd use it myself, but the only money I've got right now is on Amazon.

Though this is more common for characters that I've already seen in an unvoiced context, now given a voice.
