Also, you shouldn't wait to get it on Vita. I've played the game with a controller and it's terrible, it's basically a mouse and keyboard required game.
The Bundle-in-a-Box is shutting down in two days. If you've ever bought anything from them, now's the time to get all your downloads, and redeem all your keys. (Or at least save the webpage -- the page source contains the keys.)
I also have two more copies of the Eclectic Delights bundle. They're free for the taking. If you want one, let me know. Here's what they contain:
* Delve Deeper [D][S], including 2 DLC packs: Gratis Grottos and Treasures & Tunnels * "Hexadecimal" (soundtrack of Droidscape: Basilica) * Eversion [S] * Fibrillation [D] * Flibble * Human Tanks I: War of the Human Tanks [D][S] * Sound of the Human Tanks (soundtrack of Human Tanks I) * Skylight [D] * Shadows on the Vatican - Act I: Greed [D][S] * Shadows on the Vatican - Act II: Wrath [D] * Shadows on the Vatican (soundtrack) * Stay Dead [D] * The 4th Wall * The Adventures of Shuggy [D][S] * The Adventures of Shuggy (comic) * The Adventures of Shuggy (soundtrack)
[D] = Desura key [S] = Steam key All products are available via direct download (until Aug. 8, 2014).
So I think I'm most of the way through Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy, if the difference between story puzzles and Squirrel House bonus puzzles is any indication. Trying for completion with no hints, and in spite of the snake-packing puzzles I'm well on my way to that.
But fucking hell, the last garden bloom is a nightmare. I already spent two days' lunch breaks on the second-to-last one.
So an awesome friend just gifted me Crusader Kings II, including the African, Russian, and Norse units DLC. This is actually my first Paradox and grand strategy game, and I'm looking forward to it. Super gorgeous, very complex, fairly exciting. Had to take a break and come to it at a later point given that I'm half-asleep right now, but oh well.
Please no tips, those of you that have played a lot of it. I'm playing on Normal and have tips turned off, so I'd rather like to fail on my own.
Layton and the Azran Legacy complete. The ending was both depressing and over-the-top in its contrivance, but hey.
The puzzles were mostly in a comfortably easy-to-middle range, but some were pretty brutal:
Last two flower blooms 11x snake jar <-- NOTE: Fuck this puzzle. Fuck it with live snakes. 15-stone difference pyramid The last challenge puzzle (165), seriously what the actual fuck. I had Diabolical Box postgame relapses.
The combat mechanics are somewhat klunky (and hampered by the fact that I have a Cleric stat build with no cleric powers yet), but it seems fairly fleshed out. It's like if Skyrim had a better plot and was set in Daggerfall.

You can't become a cleric in Planescape:Torment. All the gods have long since forsaken you.
There were a lot of "read the developer's mind" puzzles. It was kind of irritating. Also the ending was one of the most depressing things ever. The girl died twice, Clive tried to spite the government and academia by slaughtering an entire residential district of London instead of anything resembling a political or scientific target, and the dirty politician that started it all got away scot free.
So I just finished Gunpoint. It's a pretty fun stealth*-action game with some creative level designs, actually pretty funny characters and humor despite/because of the main character, and you've got a number of ways to finish your objectives. I honestly wish it was a fair bit harder, but it's still a challenging enough game and likely would have been harder if I didn't want to do things in the most... efficient way. Still, I figure that's what achievement runs are for. It's worth ten bucks. I got it for free as a gift (thanks poni!), so I can't in good conscience comment on whether or not it might be worth your ten bucks for a relatively short game. Still, if you like stealth or stealth-action games, then I think you'll like Gunpoint, given that it's a pretty well-made game overall.
* If you want to. I mostly ended up harming random people
* my keyboard has faded letters * i know what the RROD is and don't fear it because i don't have an xbox, but actually think of nethack for some reason when "ring of death" is mentioned (probably combining "wand of death" and "ring of [whatever]") * my "gaming rig" is just my standard off-the-shelf computer, and i buy games from bundles, steam sales, gog promos, etc...and they are frequently less than $6 * my idea of "going out and playing with friends" is actually board games, e.g. catan * i enjoyed staying up all night playing Fortune Summoners but also regretted doing it because it fucked up my schedule

hmm, maybe I'll get it for Steam, then

Also, if you're interested in Shadows on the Vatican, Joaqs has a key for that here: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13547272660A78100100&page=5#109 If you don't know him, I'm in touch with him and I can get it for you. (As you can see, he also has Desura keys for other things.)

I don't use Desura for anything, so if you only have those don't worry about it.

You want that as the highest stat, but you also want good CHA and INT. Forget all the other stats. Just have your CON high enough to regenerate you.
There's no downside to joining and un-joining any factions, except for the Barking Dogs.

It's only 10% done right now, but it looks interesting.

this one is being made from scratch, though, which shows some ambition. it'll probably never be finished
