General Video Game Thread

I don't get it. Why does my game look so amateurish? What am I doing wrong? Why does the left tower in the 3rd look worse than the right tower despite being a better 3d model? Is the lighting ratio? The color filter? Is something too bright or too dark? Should a texture be replaced? Should I just scrap the game? Everyone tells me that the game looks fine or that the main character looks like crap, which I can't fix because it's not my character.

It looks very bright and something of a color explosion, but it looks OK to me. /probably not helping

It's the semi-sequel to 2010's Hot Pursuit. Honestly, that's the only reason I'm excited; Criterion made it.

Honestly--and I say this as someone with zippo background in video game making at all--I think it looks quite nice.

Now don't get me wrong those are still very obviously indie graphics, for lack of a better term. For anything better you'd probably need an entire studio and team to do it, but I frankly think that's pretty impressive.

I could probably buy all three of the main consoles with the amount of money it'd take to have a computer that could run more than five or six games.

I never really got into minecraft too much. Played it a little here and there but just could not stick with it, yet I find myself watching Minecraft Lets Plays with all the different mods frequently lol. Is that crazy or what?

Sly Cooper 3 had naval battles as a major part of the game

All games involve stealth, and Parkour.
