I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat
^^Yes you were. Back on TVT in 2010 and early 2011 I used that logo for an avatar a lot. People interested in TV stations tend to be fond of it.
^I know it's supposed to be neutral and inconspicuous but it just seems very likeable and distinctive to me despite its ubiquity. I even have a voice I read it in most of the time!
You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022

That would never fly in Ohio. We have the idiots who like to turn left at the very end of their cycle, even if the light's already gone red, so you often have to wait a moment after the light turns green. Usually the hesitation is just long enough that someone waiting to turn left wouldn't try to jump out in front, because they know the oncoming car is about to start moving once the red-light-runner is out of the intersection.
^ Surprisingly, those don't seem all that common here, though I may have seen them once or twice.

People "reserving" public parking spaces. That takes some nerve. Reminds me of how Malibu had to inform all the celebrities living on the PCH that the public beach behind their house is exactly that, public.

Around here people don't "reserve" public parking spaces, but they do get passive-aggressively bitchy if you park where they don't think you should.
My mother's friend once got an indignant note from his neighbor because he parked in front of the neighbor's house once a week while mowing his lawn.
Remember back in the 50s when they'd record like Elvis singing YOU AIN'T NOTHIN BUT A HOUND DOG and then they'd turn the record over and reverse it and it was all NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP and people were all like, "That is actually the voice of Satan coming from that song."

the gila monster is an interesting reptile, it's huge and it has a venomous bite but you have to like jam your hand into its mouth and have it chew on you to get envenomized

Just finished reading the Halo fanfic Enemy of My Enemy.
I don't normally like fanfiction, but that was actually really good, aside from a few typos.
Of course it had little to do with the main story, mostly just taking place in the same U, but it was still quite good.
reptiles are useful if they are Sangheli
