Happy belated birthday, Magikarp! ^_^ Good luck with college. I'm sure you'll be fine.
...so, possibly amusing story.
I was walking up the hill in the dark earlier. I was on my own, and I was feeling kinda downcast and had a lot on my mind, like. Anyway, I heard some guys on the pavement ahead singing very loudly and rowdily. I couldn't make out what it was, because they were so out of time and out of tune, but I didn't pay much attention because I assumed it would just be some drinking song or football song, or maybe a rock song or some nationalist thing or whatever. All I could tell was that they were loud and they were drunk.
Anyway, I was kinda nervous about passing them, which might be silly I suppose but when a large group of people are drunk and that rowdy I tend to be wary. I didn't really have a choice, though; it was either that or a detour through the woods in a dark, or an even longer one through residential streets that I don't know too well, so I decided the best course of action was to keep going - you know, eyes forward, paying them no notice. Anyway, when I got closer I realized what it was they were singing:
"Come on everypony, smile, smile, smile! Fill my heart up with sunshine, sunshine! All I really need's a smile, smile, smile, from these happy friends of mine!"
I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat
I'm always weirded out by just how positive people are about the show, for some reason. Probably because it makes me feel weird for having any negative opinions on certain episodes/aspects of it.
I think I'm pretty positive about most shows TBH. In fairness I probably don't hold it to the same standards I would a show with a slightly older target audience, I dunno.
There have been aspects I haven't liked, like I felt the plot for "TSSCS6000" needed some work, and "Lesson Zero" seemed a little overly-hectic to me although there's nothing really wrong with that. Sometimes aspects of the writing seem inconsistent, but it never massively detracts from the show for me.
Remember back in the 50s when they'd record like Elvis singing YOU AIN'T NOTHIN BUT A HOUND DOG and then they'd turn the record over and reverse it and it was all NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP and people were all like, "That is actually the voice of Satan coming from that song."
Lazuli: That actually looks like it would be pretty interesting as a short story. Not bad at all.
You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
Hey Linux people: Any idea why audio would randomly play too fast in Xubuntu?
It only started after updating to Chrome 20 Beta, but it's seems to affect all apps.

Speaking of movies, I saw Dark Shadows yesterday. It wasn't the best movie ever, but it was still pretty good.

I have finished the blog post.
It's a bit embarassing to share, but it's mostly just a mental exercise, not something I believe in a literal sense.
I probably do prefer season 1, but they're both great. I don't think I ever thought either was perfect, mind.
that movie had some great dialogue.
"......he's adopted"
listening to my old albums, woo.
Blix.trip, then maybe Halogen.

Tre: Do eet.
Is that the last song you have to record for District?
You should save the clean vocals so I can do a total remix of that one when I do the remix album, btw.
