I think it would have been in May, toward the beginning of June they started rearranging the non-grocery aisles in anticipation of the actual renovation.

You know I was in the Wal-Mart on Morse Road the other day.
It has a drop ceiling throughout (except the grocery section, which was a later addition), which makes the whole place feel kinda small.
It makes it feel kinda old, too. I kinda wonder if a drop ceiling was a standard thing for a Wal-Mart built in 1994.

I also have a memory (albiet a slightly clearer one) of being in my grandparents' apartment when I was 3 or 4 and begging my parents to take me to Wal-Mart late at night, because I wanted to see which of the letters on the sign weren't lit.
My mother told me no, explaining that the store was brand new and all the letters on the sign probably worked just fine.

...and now you've reminded me of a memory of my parents buying me a Sesame Street tape ("The Alphabet Game") at a Meijer when I was 5 or 6. I don't even remember which Meijer.

I am feeling quite lonely at home lately, and, one of the people I had been trying to confess my feelings for actually confessed his own feelings to me, which were nothing that I expected at all.

I remember when he used to be vaguely attracted to me, called me pretty sometimes. I don't know why he feels unsafe near me anymore. It hurts to know that he is scared of me and wants nothing to do with me, when I want everything to do with him.
Ever have the feeling where everyone over-reacts to your mental disabilities or anger/emotional issues, and alienate you as a psychotic bitch, but there is that one person who doesn't, and wants to get to know you, and the person beyond the psychotic layers of craziness?

We were friends for a long time, and I think he might have liked me. I don't know for sure though. He has tannish blonde hair and blue eyes. Foggy blue eyes. He is a bit shorter than me, but he can still pat my head and look cute. He likes Elfen Lied too, which I didn't know until he brought it up. He likes it when I wear my hair down. When I wear my regular clothes, and don't try to look to flashy. He's somebody you could just stare off into space with and never feel awkward.
