Remember back in the 50s when they'd record like Elvis singing YOU AIN'T NOTHIN BUT A HOUND DOG and then they'd turn the record over and reverse it and it was all NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP and people were all like, "That is actually the voice of Satan coming from that song."
I hardly ever recorded anything on TV, but I used to have a lot of VHS tapes. It was a bit of an odd selection, but most of it was Disney movies, The Magic School Bus, and a few Pokémon episodes.

Yay new pictures from the Flickr people
Could that Kroger sign possibly look any more tacked-on?

At least they bothered to use an actual Kroger logo, instead of doing this thing:
It's hard to tell in the picture, but that sign is actually green, as well. (Though this was in Dublin, Ohio, they love to play up the "Irish green" motif.)

For some reason the tiny Kroger sign on the side of the building amuses me.
Also, it seems Flickr has added 1600- and 2048-pixel wide image sizes for free accounts...but only for new uploads. :\

So I set Nautilus as my default File Manager and installed gedit to replace Leafpad as my default text editor.
It's funny; I'm installing all these bits of GNOME in place of the default Xubuntu ones, but no way in hell am I touching GNOME Shell itself.

I am at a McDonald's two towns over from my house, eating chicken strips and doing schoolwork. Anyone else here ever use Prezi for anything? Weird software, but useful.

Algae is in a lot of things, according to my just-recently-completed Microbiology class. One species is a coagulant in ice cream and yogurt, and another is a preservative in candy

I didn't find it gross, really. I just thought it was interesting to note.
Also, "xanthan gum" is made of bacterial capsules. But don't worry; it won't make you sick unless you're a cabbage.
It's weird; I'm overall mixed-to-positive about the Bayformers movies. The first one is the best to me and I liked the third one a bit, but the second one was just... deeaugh.
I hate hate hate it when people insist I'm some sort of genius because I know things that should be common to know. It is not uncommon knowledge that we have fifty states. Nor is it uncommon that the squarish one near Texas is Oklahoma.

I did have tapes of Transformers. I remember that
I have a ton of VHS tapes. Quite a lot of it is Ed Edd N Eddy or videos they used to show on MTV back in the day.
There's also about two seasons' worth of Sailor Moon and other Toonami stuff.

xanthan gum is also extremely high in fiber
Super Lazuli: not yet. I'm voting for "Gobotron" just to incite transformer fanboy rage
