I'm kind of tempted to post the three RPG character profiles I've done so far. Problem is, they're kind of a huge wall of text, and I'm nervous that they're going to turn out to be terrible.

Though I'm not kidding about how long it is. It takes up 2 pages of a Word document. Compare that to a normal post, and even the idea thread probably wouldn't be appropriate for it.

Heh, yeah. It's kinda like TVT back in the day, where you had Troper Updates but you also had Post Your Random Thoughts and The Random Conversation Thread with no real distinction between them aside from activity level.
maybe forums should not be a substitute forsocialisation, which is obviously kind of what all the threads about nothing are, and is that bad? maybe it is, talk to some people instead? personally im just procrastinating because i have an essay due in 5 and a half hours and i know what im writing and i just don't want to write it
