I think they just don't use the "mall" part anymore. It's functionally a strip mall now.

I haven't been in there since they changed it, so I can't really describe it any better.

Let's see if I can explain it better...You know how, in a normal mall, you have a few large stores that have inside and outside entrances, and then an interior portion of the mall with smaller stores that only have inside entrances?
Now imagine that you block off the interior portion of the mall. The larger stores can still use their exterior entrances, and the smaller stores inside are disused altogether.

I have a silly little anecdote:
When I was little--around 1994 or so--there was a shopping center in Westerville that was a sort of hybrid between a strip mall and an enclosed mall: It had two or three large stores facing the parking lot--one of them being a Kohl's. But it also had a very small enclosed mall containing a handful of stores.
At some point in the late '90s or early '00s, they stopped using the enclosed portion and basically just made it a strip mall. But they didn't remove the inside entrance to the Kohl's. So for some time, you could still walk out from the Kohl's into an empty hallway with white walls--the former "mall" portion, with all the storefronts walled off. From there you could walk to what had been the main entrance of the mall, but was now treated as the second entrance to Kohl's.

Buy NBCUniversal, cut their movie studios away with an X-Acto knife, then throw the rest away

Sort of.

Does that make sense?

I remember when Furr's Family Dining closed around 2002 or so, it was very strange.
Why?
You know, if you go through with the deal.
Which I'm sure you will, because you love me
The article was from December.
True
what about a pony knife

And then they meet each other and it turns out they amplify their worst neuroses until eventually they end up as bank robbers.
