Moving his hands to the higher frets for lower chords and lower frets for higher chords is a nice touch.

Also every time I see that video I wish we got a better look at the drummer, because what he's doing looks like it would be funny if we could see it.
Argh bluh another hard day at work, except today I could mostly concentrate and actually got something done. Still not happy that I'm being pressured because of an unusually annoying customer, though.
Also, little by little, talking to you-know-who again. Baby steps, just like Bob, I guess.
In any case, I'm up too late again, so time for me to go pass out. Good night!

Thanks, AU.
You know if you and I ever go to the UK we have to stop at a Tesco store

Well, they're one of the world's largest supermarket chains, and I've never been to one of there stores.

For some reason I find myself wondering if this diagram would make any sense to someone who doesn't already know what it's talking about:
Remember back in the 50s when they'd record like Elvis singing YOU AIN'T NOTHIN BUT A HOUND DOG and then they'd turn the record over and reverse it and it was all NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP and people were all like, "That is actually the voice of Satan coming from that song."
Good morning.
CA: I don't understand the technical terms -- essentially, I don't know what a "buffer interval" is -- but it seems pretty clear that it's a guide for how walk signals are supposed to be timed.

From what I've seen of Tesco in pictures, I'd say they're more like one of the regional hypermarkets here, more of a Meijer or bigg's than Target or Walmart. Not as grubby as Walmart, and not as, well, red as Target.
The new KFC Double Down sandwich is real! This one-of-a-kind sandwich features two thick and juicy boneless white meat chicken filets (Original Recipe®), two pieces of bacon, two melted slices of Monterey Jack and pepper jack cheese and Colonel's Sauce. This product is so meaty, there’s no room for a bun!
Also, Blonde and Blonder is pretty much the epitome of Thompson's Lament: "I want to make a terrible movie in Canada! Everybody else has!" (He originally said that about Millennium, but really, any cheap direct-to-DVD Canadian movie certainly fits.)
Lazuli: Argh. You would think that, in an age where you can go to Redbox and rent the DVD for a dollar (or, at worst, pay a few bucks for pay-per-view), people would think twice before downloading the rips. If it's something rare and unavailable any other way, sure, but zero-day releases of movies that are still in cinemas? Yeah, no.
Something to keep in mind: Sometimes the high prices are due to piracy. If people would just pay like they're supposed to, there's a chance prices could... go down.
I pirate things all the time too. Difference being I only pirate things if I can't get them otherwise. The movie in question was The Avengers, which he had already seen, twice.
Regardless, I would rather this not turn into a piracy debate. Those are among the most tedious on the internet.
Lazuli when will you get it back?
When/if we switch to a new provider. We've been using a Connections Academy line, if you break their terms of service they basically flip you the middle finger.
This isn't the first time this has happened to us. We've been blacklisted by PenTeleData too. Anyone else who lives in PA knows how hard it is to get service without them.

I hope you feel better, CA.
^Hi Wind Fish.

Ah, okay. Thanks!
for the record I rather like Obama, I dunno what got him so huffy here
It was 8utterscotch of course.
banana yogurt
there are about 5 polygons in that screenshot
I counted them
So we're losing our internet on Sunday because my stepdad got caught pirating movies.
Again.

Some people look for excuses to be pissed. *shrugs*
