ST: Midnight Velvet was a poster on TvT who was, to say the least, pretty eccentric. She was a 15 year old crack whore mother of three (two girls and a boy, IIRC) who, after many unsatisfying relationships with men, realized she was a lesbian. Also, she was an Eskimo, but that's besides that point. She moved in with a total cougar (about 42, but from the picture she posted of her, she looked to be about 25) who helped her take care of her children and also had hot sexy make-out time with her.
Anyway, MV's dad came looking for her, beat her lover and kidnapped one of her daughters, causing MV to have a serious mental breakdown. She tried to kill herself by eating chocolate (she heard that dogs could die from eating chocolate and thought it applied to people too, if they ate too much. She wasn't all that bright). Anywho, it didn't work, but she did get really fat.
Anyway, she turned to TvT to help her out, and they suggested Christianity, and so she became a born-again Christian and turned her life around. This lasted for about a week before she started selling her body again for snickers bars. She moved to California (she was originally from Montana, IIRC) and became homeless, her only possessions being some tattered clothing and an old, shoddy laptop. I'm not sure what happened to her, but I'm pretty sure she was murdered in a tragic bicycle accident. Sad, really. And that's all you need to know about Midnight Velvet.

I used it a couple times on IJBM back when they had an insane number of pinned threads.
But the feature is/was apparently very buggy, so they removed it.
