I once heard a simpsonskid say that Okami is unplayable because it has cutscenes, and Navi in Ocarina of Time is unforgivable

It's a good thing that us millenials were taught the virtues of patience and listening to others by our own vastly superior video games, rather than the primitive barbaric "tough love" of pseudo-games of the past. I doubt civilization would survive for long if the brutish unintelligent Simpsonskids were not balanced out

I mean The Simpsons is like a good show but I also don't subscribe to the narrative that it magically stopped being good sometime in the 2000s. It's past-peak but anything that's almost 30 years old is going to be.

I think you'd enjoy it if you watched it with an open mind. Besides, there are plenty of really good episodes that never get referenced because they're not quotable enough ("El Viaje Misterioso de Nuestro Jomer" is a personal favorite).

I didn't say the method was what I didn't like

I just don't think it is being used to its full potential

Though I doubt Fox has much interest in investing much more time or money than they do into The Simpsons's animation, given that most of the reason the show is still on at this point is to keep the IP in people's faces (and thus the licensing money from drying up)
