I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat
I haven't seen an entire episode of TaleSpin in fucking ages but I keep wanting to watch it to see if it's as boring as most of its TDA brethren (hopefully not)
You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
With this being Heapers' Hangout, there's a good chance that the next poster is a trans girl, or Kexruct.

There's nothing intrinsically wrong with it; it's just that years of propaganda saying that "buses are only for poor people who can't afford cars" (read: not white) has not helped much.
A lot of the more craven Congress-critters and assembly members here will be pro-roads simply because you need to be relatively well-off to drive—gas, inspections, licensing, and taxes are not cheap—and buses and trains "will increase crime" (which is a racist dog whistle, by the way).
It goes all the way back to "bustitution" back in the 1950s. The old-timey, more egalitarian trolleys were replaced with modern, streamlined "fishbowl" buses..that eventually became symbols of The Big City and urban blight. They were built cheap, didn't ride well, and were noisy.
Why? Because GM (who built most of those buses) wanted you to See the U.S.A. (or at least the traffic jam in front of you) In Your Chevrolet, that's why.
Thankfully, most urban leaders had this crap figured out by the late 1960s, and demanded better. This led to better buses like the GM RTS and the Flexible Metro, and to more and better trains like the Washington Metro and a lot of modern light-rail systems.
here are several objects and environments that do not cope too well with Samus's ability to shinespark. They include:
Lava and quicksand
Effect: Samus will move at a pathetically low speed (about 0.11 px/f) with her energy drained as usual, until she runs out of it (then the game might crash regardless). Note: the speed will vary depending on how deep Samus is submerged (compare: the same lava demo, but two pixels higher).

inspired my liking for seaplanes, actually
The premise is actually really interesting in retrospect even though I definitely never thought about how off the wall it was as a kid
