Whoever started the trend of making SD slots harder to access has a lot to answer for. "Let's force them to remove the battery!" "Let's put it under a screwed on backplate!"
I somewhat anticipated this given Assassin's Creed 1 was mediocre at best, then 2 improved on it in every way (except for not being about pirates) and the franchise took off like a jet.
I had largely assumed WD2 would make similar strides
I was halfway crossing a t-junction that I had checked was clear, when a black Lexus that had the steering wheel on the left side came zooming out of my blind spot and came a screeching halt a foot away from me.
At least they had the decency to apologise before they zoomed off.
And then it was horribly budgeted. The opening at the SWT all nice and pretty in Greenland? Cost big bucks. And then they realized with a story about people manipulating elements that couldn’t be believably done with in camera practical effects. So they had to rebudget and gave most of the money to ILM for post production. You go from the beautiful SWT to everything looking dingy because everything else was shot in Pennsylvania. The Fire Nation Royal Palace? An old high school in Philadelphia. Parts of the Earth Kingdom (including Kyoshi Island which got cut)? Reading, PA. And everything that was the NWT…. some sets built in front of giant green screens in an old emptied aircraft hangar in the outskirts of Philadelphia. Yeah.

This makes way too much sense. At least this state is pretty.
This morning, I found the beginning of an internet argument while looking stuff up for the DnD game, and I'm still reading it.
It's interesting to see how things progress. Starts out by arguing the potential pros and cons for a single archetype for a single class, and then somebody started comparing both the archetype and the class to other classes, and after someone brought in the idea of fighter vs. wizard, it kicked off the habitual 'casters vs smashers' argument that is inherent to the DnD experience (with a particularly angry person with poor comprehension and diplomatic skills on the caster side).
And the sad thing is that people recognize that the argument has devolved into the world's most passive-aggressive form of cheerleading, but they're just not strong enough to re-rail the discussion
And we've just gotten to the bit where people start arguing about how the opposition's arguing. Fascinating.

Fuck.
Shame I spent most of the day with the hood of my new bottle green fluffy hoodie up to avoid said windy rainstorm.
I don't think spots are supposed to turn purple after being popped.

I'm glad you're okay, though.
I'm glad that my reflexes are still here, as I leapt backwards as soon as I saw the car so I was a little bit of its path.
