Anyway I looked at my paystub and discovered to my chagrin just how much is taken out in taxes, and while I'm not normally one to complain about such things, when I'm already making so little and when I live in a state with a ten percent sales tax, having 160 dollars (or roughly a fifth of my pay) taken out is all rather disheartening.

It's pretty fucked up that they keep your dorm so hot
Of course, it's also pretty fucked up that it's this hot this far into October, so
Fiddled around with the thermostat, and apparently, setting it to heat somehow emits cold air? This raises so many questions, but if I can work again, I'm not going to complain

I think what's happening is this:
If you set it to "heat", the heater or furnace never lights because it's already warmer than the temperature the thermostat is set to
But if you leave the fan on "on", it'll circulate the relatively cool air anyway
I'm not sure what your point is. Are you denying that there's an aesthetic that's common in big butts? When you bring up criticisms, is it not in reference to things you dislike? This is my starting point: big butts has an aesthetic. Yes, #notallbigbutts, but by and large, there is a collection of visual, dialogue, plot and characterization tropes that are common to the medium. I don't dig those visual, dialogue, plot or characterization tropes. I don't think it looks cool, or sounds cool, I don't respond to the dialogue ticks. They're annoying to me, or, if you'd like, they're silly in a way I dislike. When I end up liking big butts, it's when it avoids those things. Which does happen! But I'm not sure if you're saying the aesthetic isn't there (which I disagree with) or you're saying you shouldn't dislike an aesthetic (which I also disagree with). Yes, I can scour the world of big butts for exceptions but why would I? I know they exist, they land on my door step sometimes, but life is too short to swim upstream for boners. There's boners everywhere.
According to Kendall'sTravels through the Northern Parts of the United States, in the year 1807-1808 while visiting the Newgate copper mine and prison, the author met an innkeep who told him that "there was to be found in the surrounding hills, a black stone, of a certain species, through which a seventh son of a seventh son, born in the month of February, with a caul on his head, can discern everything that lies in the depths and interior of the globe." The author speculates that the importance of mining to the community gave rise to this localized belief.[3][4]
what is a "pro-science" movie in the mind of this person
[disregarding the entry on the Happening, because can you possibly flog that dead horse any harder]
Well in Cracked's mind, "Science" is a divine entity that hands down holy and incontrovertible truth and what might seem to the layman as "This one study done on 200 college students seemed to find such and such correlation" is actually "Science Says The Strongest Possible Interpretation Of This Study Is True"

I think there's something to be said about how fixated on conspiracy theories modern blockbusters tend to be, but of course, that was not it.

See, when I was out this morning it wasn't that hot
But since I've been home I've been uncomfortably hot just sitting in my bedroom with the curtains closed
